This guide is intended to provide relevont information and data on Uzbekistan's agri-food sector of use to potential investors, new businesses, and other stakeholders with an interest in the sector. The agri-food sector of Uzbekistan offers significant opportunities for both domestic and foreign investors alike. The sector is a Government priority which is being supported by an ambitious reform agenda, articulated in a new agricultural strategy. New policies, legal frameworks, business support services, guarantees, targeted incentives schemes and other measures are being rapidly introduced to encourage entrepreneurship and increase the attraction of investment into the sector.
