BUILDING Energy-Efficiency in Nepal
The EU funded SWITCH-Asia BUILDING Energy-Efficiency in Nepal (BEEN) project has conducted a baseline study in its focus provinces of Bagmati, Lumbini and Gandaki to understand building energy consumpiton patterns, providing crucial insights into energy usage, building technology, construction techniques and materials. Furthermore, it seeks to assess the current status of energy efficiency measures, the adoption of alternative energy sources, and the level of awarenss among the population regarding energy efficiency.
