A Snapshot
Asia is one of the fastest growing economic regions in the world, a global manufacturing hub and is at the forefront of environmental challenges including climate change, pollution and resource scarcity. Achieving SDG 12 on Responsible Consumption and Production will help leapfrog the region’s development towards a more sustainable developmental trajectory. Asia’s Reporting on SDG 12 – A Snapshot 2022 is an update of the 2019 edition of the “Asia’s Reporting on SDG 12: An analysis of reporting mechanisms and status of the reports.” The Snapshot was prepared to communicate the progress made in the Asia region on SDG 12 monitoring and reporting across different reporting mechanisms, highlight achievements and key trends.
