Prevent Plastics is a EU SWITCH-Asia funded project with the overall objective to promote Sustainable Consumption and Production (SCP) patterns in Myanmar through raised awareness and best practices on waste management.

This handbook offers strategies to implement and adapt the 3R (reduce, reuse, recycle) concept and practices in industries, Micro-, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), and governmental authorities involved in the waste management sector in Myanmar. Various approaches are shared that have been proven effective among Myanmar's local community when increasing the rates of products' production and lessen waste minimisation.
