The 3rd Regional Dialogue on Circular Economy in Central Asia, held on 9–10 April 2026 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan was convened under the SWITCH-Asia Programme with the support of the European Union Delegation to Uzbekistan, the Central Asia Regional Environmental Centre (CAREC), and the Government of Uzbekistan. The Dialogue brought together parliamentarians, policymakers, businesses, financial institutions, and development partners to align efforts and accelerate action on sustainable consumption and production (SCP) and circular economy (CE). Building on the earlier dialogues in Bishkek and Almaty, the event underscored a growing regional commitment to move beyond policy ambition towards tangible results driven by investment, innovation, and scalable solutions. A central message throughout the Dialogue was that the circular economy is both an environmental necessity and an economic strategy.
