This report has been prepared as part of the project entitled “Strengthening Resource Efficiency and Sustainable Consumption & Production” by the European Union SWITCH-Asia Regional Policy Advocacy Component implemented by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) in collaboration with the Joint Graduate School of Energy and Environment (JGSEE), King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi. The goal of this report is to select and finalize relevant regional indicators, identify current sustainable consumption and production hotspots, increase access to accurate data, and assist nations in assessing their present consumption patterns. The resource efficiency indicators and databases for 18 major nations of the Asian region are presented in this report. This will assist countries in making informed decisions to improve resource efficiency to meet the national targets of sustainable development goals.
