Call for proposals 

The European Union is launching a new call for proposals to support Asia’s transition to a low-carbon, resource-efficient and circular economy, while promoting more sustainable value chains and products between the region and the European Union and contributing to local economic recovery and a cleaner, more competitive economy.

In line with the EU’s Global Gateway and the above-mentioned objectives, the priority of this call for proposals is to scale up pioneering practices and pilot initiatives that help decoupling growth from resource use and emissions, promoting sustainable consumption and production patterns and/or making Asia-EU value chains more sustainable. For the purpose of this call, scaling up is understood as the action of expanding the scope, size or reach of an initial small-scale project or initiative to a larger context.
